Southern Light Vineyards' sole focus is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
We have four vineyards, each with their own unique characteristics. We will make individual wines from the best of each of these vineyards. Our first release is from the Ghostgum Vineyard in Main Ridge.
In the years to come we will release wines from our other three vineyards.
Our winery is in Healesville in the Yarra Valley which is centrally located to our four vineyards, and is purposefully designed for small batch winemaking.



We have a no compromise, holistic approach on each and every step of the grape growing and winemaking process, from budburst through to bottle.

Southern Light Vineyards is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit for Joval Wines, who have been involved in every aspect of fine wine for over 50 years, spanning three generations.
"From the start of my journey in wine, this has been the dream. It's taken a long time but I'm lucky to join with our team and be part of the first brave steps of Southern Light Vineyards. This project is a new beginning - our Dawn Chorus."
