Using our decades of experience in fine wine, our sole focus at Southern Light Vineyards is to craft exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Australia’s most southerly, cool-climate wine regions.
We have three vineyards planted across the Mornington Peninsula and the Yarra Valley and from these we will produce wines that express the diversity of each site.
Our close attention to detail in the vineyard carries through to our winery in Healesville, which is purposefully designed for small batch winemaking. Each batch is given the space and attention it deserves - we ferment each block individually, each of which is matured separately in specially designated cool and warm rooms to precisely manage the fermentation process.

We are supported by Joval Family Wines and the Valmorbida family, who have been involved in every aspect of fine wine for over 50 years. Southern Light Vineyards is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit.
A close-knit, experienced team leads this venture, with winemaker and viticulturalist Anthony Fikkers at the helm, and Rupert Steenberg and Hayley O’Heare who manage brand direction, sales, and marketing.
